The system of incentives for recovery of degraded soils "Sistema de Incentivos para la Recuperación de Suelos Degradados"(SIRSD), is intended through farm management plans, and best practice, to prevent and reverse the losses of natural fertility sustained by soils used in agricultural production.

* In the season of 2007 the following programs are specified: fertilisation with phosphorous, lime, sowing and re-grassing.
* Those that are interested can apply for the incentives in one or more specific programs, the amount cannot exceed more than 160 UTM ($5.142.720) for each farmer in one calendar year and the duration of the program cannot exceed more than 3 years.
* The closing date is the 31st May 2007.
